Meet Meagan and Derrrick. They are kissing coworkers. I think it’s okay to say that out loud because I assume their work knows they are getting married.
Actually, they are from the same town, so I think they were kissing sweethearts before they became kissing coworkers.
They both work in the world of auditing, which means that work is probably rather long and exhausting for them right now. Hopefully this post brightens up their day a bit!
Actually I know it will brighten up their day because we are in Deep Ellum, the land of bright colors. My couples really like this location, and for good reason.
I’m always looking for “nature” in this really urban location.
Don’t you L-O-V-E Meagan’s hair color?
I doubt they are laughing because of something I said, as I’ve come to realize I’m just not that funny. I’m going to guess this is a “We are so in love!” laugh. Those are my favorite kind.
Awwww, so sweet.
It’s a good thing I really like the pictures above, because I made the two of them crawl back in the muck to get them. Luckily Meagan had some wipes on hand to clean up their shoes. I felt awful about it, but I love the pictures so I hope the two of them can forgive me.
Please note who is winning the arm wrestling match pictured below.
Who would have thought that yellow cabs existed in Dallas? Just another reason to love this location. Check out Meagan’s calf muscles in this shot. Hot!
That Shot!
Love the blue wall, the foot pop, the red purse, the red in general. Love it all!
This pose looks sweet no matter what.
I couldn’t stop myself from asking Derrick to step out of the frame for just a few seconds so I could capture Meagan alone on this blue wall. The hair! The necklace! The blue shirt on the blue wall!
I offered Derrick the chance to have his own headshots taken, but I don’t think he was interested.
He’s a sweet guy, content to let Meagan be the star of the show.
I think it’s always best to end on the flag wall.
“I want classic Americana!” I shouted. So they kissed and dipped. Is there anything more classic than that?
Maegan it was lovely seeing you again. Derrick, you keep taking good care of her.
I think the tender moments in these photos show that’s just what you intend to do. Thanks for spending your Saturday evening in crazy Deep Ellum with me!
Best,
Jenna
