Change of Direction for Jenna Cole

After 6 months of running Jenna Cole Photography, photographing every kind of session imaginable (I even took pictures of a cat once, although never again!), it’s time for me to narrow my focus a bit and continue to work on making my product the absolute best it can be. For this reason I’ve decided to eliminate certain sessions from my repertoire, including children and families.

When you hire a photographer and make such an important investment you want them to be as thrilled about taking your photos as you are about having them done. Some photographers manage to do that without specializing, others realize that focusing in on what they love keeps the fire burning and the skills improving. I’ve found myself to be in the latter group.

Currently I am accepting inquiries for:

Newborn

Maternity

Senior

Duet (meaning, any two adults)

Bridal/TTD

Engagement

Weddings

I want to take a moment to thank all of my past clients for both their positive reactions and words of encouragement regarding the photos I presented them with, as well as all of the nice things they have said about their friends and families. Word of mouth marketing is the best kind, and there are so many of you I owe my gratitude to for that. I look forward to all of the new people I’m going to work with during the next 6 months and beyond!

October 27, 2009 - 2:11 am Becky - Yea for narrowing focus! I think we've shared our sentiments on this before, but I think with focus comes better things. So happy for you with this decision.

October 27, 2009 - 2:13 am Becky - P.S. I'll keep the kitties (and puppies), you can have the happy couples. :)

October 27, 2009 - 6:28 am MCH - Very courageous of you to choose! I always have trouble making decisions, this is a big and brave one! All the best to your business!!

October 27, 2009 - 1:31 pm Mrs. Joey - The senior pictures look great. A great (and cheap) way to get the word out about your new direction is to advertise in local high school newspapers. Micah is the newspaper advisor at his school and I know that ads are cheap and that a lot of kids end up using the photographers that advertise. Just a thought! Good luck with the change in direction. :)
