Teaser: Salt Flat Bridals

Sometimes when you take pictures of family members, it can a considerable amount of time to sit down and edit them. No rush to get these back to my sister of course (she is the lovely model you see pictured), as she has copies of all the original files to play with on her own time. :)

This whole session was rather dreamy and I get so excited whenever I look at the photos. One reason I love this one in particular? (Other than the gorgeous Utah sunset!) My sister is wearing my mom’s veil, the same veil I also wore for my wedding 8 months before her, making this photo both sentimental and beautiful. I hope those of you setting up your own photo shoots in the future can find a way to do so in your own unique manner!

February 13, 2010 - 11:18 am Christy - That is such a great picture! The meaning behind it is even better - what a great keepsake!

February 13, 2010 - 4:59 pm Regina Lynn - Oh, beautiful! Can't wait to see the rest!

February 14, 2010 - 1:52 am Adele - Gorgeously moody... There is a story told by so many components of the image - the sunset, the pose, the veil... Love the fact that the viewer has to think! My favorite kind of art :-)

February 16, 2010 - 1:32 pm Beckie K - LOVE!!!

February 23, 2010 - 3:55 pm Debbie - What gorgeous pictures! Beautiful Kathryn, my sweet little cousin! I didn't attend the wedding, but these pics made it feel like I was there - excellent work!

February 26, 2010 - 11:42 am Pat - The most beautiful bride I've ever seen - but then again, I'm biased!!
